Privacy Policy
How Sentinel Meridian handles information collected through this website, its email subscriptions, and its public data endpoint. Last updated 5 August 2026.
Scope
This policy covers the Sentinel Meridian public website at sentinel-meridian.com, its published assessment library, its email subscription service, and its public machine-readable endpoint. It does not cover client engagements governed by a separate contract.
Information we collect
This website does not require an account and does not ask you to log in. We do not operate a backend database of visitor records, and we do not sell information to anyone. Information reaches us in three ways only:
- Email you send us. Our contact page opens your own email client addressed to hwhiteaker@sentinel-meridian.com. Whatever you choose to write and send — your name, email address, organization, and message — arrives in our mailbox and is retained there as ordinary business correspondence.
- Subscription details you give Mailchimp. See the section below.
- Standard server and hosting logs. Our hosting provider records routine technical data such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and timestamp for security and reliability purposes. We do not use these logs to build visitor profiles.
Email subscriptions are processed by Mailchimp
Our subscription page does not collect your address on this site. Clicking the subscribe button sends you to a signup form hosted by Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), an independent third-party email service provider. When you submit that form:
- Your email address, any name or interest categories you select, and your signup metadata (such as IP address and timestamp) are collected and stored by Mailchimp on its own infrastructure, which may be located in the United States or other countries.
- Mailchimp acts as our processor for delivering assessment alerts and updates. Its handling of your data is additionally governed by Mailchimp’s own privacy notice and terms.
- Mailchimp records standard campaign analytics such as opens and link clicks, which we use only to gauge interest in published topics.
- You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of any message we send, or by emailing us directly. Unsubscribing removes you from future distributions.
Public, unauthenticated MCP endpoint
Sentinel Meridian publishes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint so that AI assistants and other automated clients can read our published work. You should understand the following:
- The endpoint is public and unauthenticated. No API key, account, or login is required, and any client on the internet may call it.
- It exposes only already-published, public assessment content — report metadata, summaries, and links to the public PDFs. It exposes no subscriber data, no contact correspondence, no client material, and no non-public analysis.
- The endpoint is read-only. It accepts no submissions and stores no information about the clients that call it beyond ordinary hosting logs.
- Because third-party AI systems may retain or reproduce content they retrieve, treat anything available through this endpoint as fully public.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run cross-site tracking. Mailchimp may set its own cookies on its hosted signup pages, which are outside our control.
Third parties
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate this site: our website host and content delivery network, and Mailchimp for email distribution. We do not share your information with anyone else except where required by law.
Retention
Email correspondence is retained for as long as it is relevant to the inquiry or the business relationship. Subscription records persist in Mailchimp until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe at any time, ask what information we hold about you, or request deletion of your subscription record or correspondence. Send requests to hwhiteaker@sentinel-meridian.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Children
This site is intended for professional and institutional audiences and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
