What Sentinel Meridian's published assessments are, how they are sourced, and the decisions they should not be used to make. Last updated 5 August 2026.
Informational purpose only
All assessments, briefs, summaries, and other material published on this website are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. They are analytic judgments about uncertain events, not recommendations to act.
Not professional advice
Nothing published on this site constitutes, or should be relied upon as:
- Legal advice — including sanctions, export control, regulatory, or compliance determinations.
- Financial or investment advice — including any recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, currency, commodity, or asset, or to enter or exit any market or jurisdiction.
- Security advice — including physical security, executive protection, travel safety, or duty-of-care determinations.
- Operational or cybersecurity advice — including incident response, network defense, threat remediation, or continuity decisions.
- Insurance, tax, medical, or emergency guidance of any kind.
Consult qualified legal, financial, security, or technical professionals before acting on any matter discussed here. Decisions made on the basis of published assessments are made solely at the reader’s own risk.
Sourcing
Published assessments are built from open-source information: government and multilateral releases, court and regulatory filings, commercial and academic reporting, credible press, technical telemetry, and publicly observable indicators. They contain no classified information and no material obtained unlawfully or in breach of confidence.
Analytic judgment and uncertainty
Assessments express probabilistic judgments about incomplete situations. Estimative language, threat levels, and confidence statements reflect the analyst’s reasoning at the time of writing, not certainty about outcomes. Source reporting can be incomplete, contested, deliberately manipulated, or later corrected.
Time sensitivity
Every assessment is a snapshot as of its publication date. Conditions in the covered regions and domains change quickly. We do not warrant that any assessment remains current, and we are under no obligation to update, retract, or notify readers of superseded material.
No warranty
Published material is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Sentinel Meridian LLC accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from reliance on this material.
No client relationship
Reading a published assessment, downloading a PDF, subscribing to alerts, or retrieving content through the public data endpoint does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary, or confidential relationship. Tailored analysis requires a separate written engagement.
Not attributable to any government
Sentinel Meridian is an independent private practice. Its assessments represent its own analysis and do not reflect the views, positions, or endorsement of any government, agency, military service, political party, or other organization.
Named entities
References to states, organizations, companies, or individuals are analytic in nature. They are not allegations of criminal conduct and should not be read as accusations against any named party.
Automated and AI access
Content retrieved through our public, unauthenticated data endpoint carries these same limitations. AI systems may summarize, paraphrase, or lose the estimative qualifiers that accompany the original text; always consult the source assessment before relying on any restated judgment.
Corrections
We take analytic accuracy seriously. Report a suspected factual error to hwhiteaker@sentinel-meridian.com and we will review it.
